Dear Lady,
This campus is pretty amazing. Another cool day, so i hiked out past Beebe lake this time and found a beautiful rhododendron garden that circles a hill. It's gorgeous, but tomorrow it may look even better (present company always seems to enhance or detract from the beauty of a scene and I have high hopes for tomorrow's company).
i've sent out Facebook letters requesting opinions from my friends about education reforms. i wanted to hear some other opinions and maybe get some new ideas. i really feel an obligation to our boys to provide them something better than a standard education, but i also feel strongly that simple home schooling is not the ideal (though i think it is much better than public schooling). i'm also trying to find information on the tessera program i attended and other programs like it. Perhaps we'll reform education together—at the very least we'll reform it for our boys.
